Monthly Letters

I have finally started putting O’s monthly letters in a book for his first birthday. My hope is to have this completed by his party so others can look at the book on the big day. It has been a little time consuming, but I am just working on it a little bit at a time here and there, which makes it much more manageable. I am really happy that I already had his letters written as blog post and could easily cut and copy them to Mixbooks.  It has already been so fun to look back and see how much he’s changed and read exactly what he was doing that month. It’s really hard to believe we are already planning this little guys first birthday!

Here’s a sneak peek at a few pages in the book

Although I didn’t post Owen’s 8 month letter on the blog I have put it in his book along with pictures from 8 months.

The hardest part about this little project is narrowing down the pictures so that the book isn’t a million pages long!

So, that’s what I’ve been up to lately, trying to get caught up on this so I can move on to all the other little projects I have planned for Owen’s birthday!

Now I am off to catch my little one-he’s about to attempt to crawl up the stairs! ahh..baby on the move..always!

Happy Thursday!!

This is such a good idea! I need to get working on putting my monthly blog posts into a book for Hayden too. It's so time consuming!

Great idea! :) If I didn't have ten billion projects going on, I would definitely do this for his party! :) I'll think I'll do it anyways, just not in time for March! haha! Emily, we have almost 1 year olds!! Eeek!

This is wonderful! I'm doing something similar with mac's monthly updates. It turned out great! Love the chalkboard look!
