It's that time again..what will you be eating this week?? Here's what's on our menu for the week.
Italian Sausage Soup with bread and salad
Chicken Club Croissants with Sweet Potato Fries
Grilled Salmon with Rice and Veggies
Turkey Kofta Kebabs with Veggies
with No Bake Greek Dip with Pita and Veggies
Making a Menu for the week has been quite helpful for this sleep deprived Momma brain of mine. I think we did pretty good sticking to our plans this month. Our goal was to eat out only once a week and cook more often. When I look back at our supper journal we did this every week with the exception of one week. Of course, this weekend since we had a little getaway we ate out a little more too.
The weekends always seem to fly by. If you follow me on Instagram (if you want to follow we're-cke2012) you probably already know the hubby and I had a nice little weekend getaway with our friends in Austin. We ate good food, enjoyed adult beverages, got pampered with mani's and pedi's and slept in! It was wonderful. It's still hard for both of us to leave the baby but knowing he was with Mimi made all the difference. O did great with Mimi and they had a lot of fun together. We are very grateful to have two awesome Grandma's in our life. Here are a few phone pics from the weekend.

Dinner at Perlas- Great Seafood Restaurant on South Congress
On the way home from Austin the hubby and I stopped in Lockhart, TX at Smitty's Market. Lockhart is the BBQ capital of the state. It was interesting to say the least. Clark was in heaven!

This week I hope to finalize plans for Owen's first birthday, and we are attempting to tackle a little backyard makeover before the big day. Fingers-crossed it gets done in time, but also implementing a plan B just in case.
