I am calling this week "rewind" week because I have some posts that I really want to share but haven't been able to so far so this will be my chance to "rewind" and catch up on a few! (Like, having a 7 week old is time consuming! ha)
Our amazing friends here in Houston threw us a couples shower before Owen was born (exactly two weeks before he was born actually!) It was such a great shower. I am calling it " Modern Country" because they blended rustic/country elements with modern patterns perfectly. So super cute. I was shocked when I walked in and saw two of the hostesses in cowboy boots! They aren't ones to wear boots very often so to see them in their cute boots to "go with" the shower was so fun! From the decor, to the food and drinks, to the favors, and all the thoughtfulness these girls put into this shower I can not thank them enough. The Tiny Boxwood's chocolate chip cookies, AND chocolate cupcakes from Crave were heavenly and totally hit the spot for this pregnant Momma's sweets craving. We had such a great time hanging out and enjoying each others company while eating yummy food. The guys also really enjoyed themselves getting in some much needed guy time while enjoying some of their favorite beers. We are so lucky to have such great friends here in Houston that are truly more like our family. Love them, and thanks again ladies for the best Couples Shower ever!!
